Record Wall Hours in July 2015

July brought two exciting milestones for computing on the Open Science Grid. The first milestone was the highest number of wall hours in a single week. During the week starting July 2nd, 22.3 million wall hours were delivered, equivalent to the continuous use of 133,000 cores and outpacing the monthly average over the last year by nearly 6 million hours. The second milestone was a record number of wall hours in a month for OSG, 92.7 million hours, bettering the previous month by nearly 10 million hours and well exceeding the pace required for a billion hour year.

The following two charts help illustrate this.
