Our sincere thanks to Brian Bockelman, Michael Thomas, Haifeng Pi, Terrence Martin, Andrew Baranovski, Frank Wuerthwein. RPM packaging and YUM repository design is based on Michael's contributions; Brian is investigating the upcoming version 0.20 of Apache Hadoop, to be included in OSG Hadoop v2 on Summer 2010 timescale.

We encourage sites to consider deploying Hadoop if it fits your large scale storage provisioning needs.
